Some social media networks allow their users to share their personal locations with their personal connections. The biggest social network, Facebook, lets location sharing since 2009 and named the process as “check-in”. Facebook implemented the same mapping infrastructure to the company it acquired, Instagram, which names the process as “geotagging”. Since then, users create geolocation based marketing value for Facebook and check-in based social media marketing value for brick & mortar businesses. Unfortunately, most of the location-based businesses, especially multi-location companies or their agencies, are not aware of the value of branch-based organic social media marketing.
Because of the number of its users, Facebook’s location and branch related database has turned into a landfill. Apart from the US market, Facebook enabled claiming of unofficial branch pages to non-US countries in 2015. Even after, companies and their agencies have not paid enough attention to branch related brand protection, brand value and organic consumer engagement data. This inattention caused irrelevant data mergers and consequently, data loss which led us work on social listening, data recycling and brand protection. We use tools to listen society to find engagement between brands and consumers, recycle end-user data to reuse it for targeting and protect brand.
Since 2007, Facebook offers “Pages” service where businesses can build active and engaged audiences. Since multi-location companies had difficulties in administration of multiple location pages, Facebook offered another service called “Locations” which made afore-mentioned process easier.
SodaCo now makes administration of each store page easier and more efficient with branchScale™ which lets communication experts manage their stores at preferred scale such as state, city, neighborhood, avenue.
According to studies made in the US, consumers make 65% of their purchases in between a mile distance of their houses and workplaces. Based on city plannings of the US, a vast amount of the population meet their needs by driving cars to access to the point of sales. Taking the city plannings of the Old World (Asia, Europe, etc.) and the purchases of the consumers, the afore-mentioned distances drop to a few hundred meters.
SodaCo offers the state-of-art technology product, brandAdopt™, which has been developed in the light of these information and extractions.
